- What are you passionate about?
- Politics, even though I try not to be. I hate being passionate about politics, because it only ever causes stress. Other things I'm passionate about are family (moreso than anything else), God (yes, I know, the order here is an issue), running, music.
My hobbies include running and computer stuff of all kinds. I love photography and working with Photoshop. I am a software engineer/developer/designer by trade, and its great to make money doing things that I find to be fun.
- What are you most thankful for?
- The other day an old friend said something that really struck me. "Your life has always been blessed," he said, almost as a sidebar in an email.
It took a while to process, but he's right. As bad as things may have seemed at certain times, I've had an incredibly blessed life.
- Besides parents, who has been most influencial in your life?
- God, obviously, but we're talking about people.
My wife... My kids. My friends, especially when younger, who somehow managed to have strong values despite living in a world of absent parents.
I was watching a TV show where Jack Osbourne (Ozzie's son), after rehab, lost a bunch of weight and changed his entire life around. He climbed a huge cliff, and it was very impressive. As Ozzie watched from below he said, "The thing about raising kids is, you learn more from them than they learn from you."

- I want to be remembered as someone who, despite being a messed up human being, somehow managed to make the lives of those around him at least a little better.
