My favorite word is potential. That is what I am most passionate about is helping people understand their potential and work towards achieving that. For me potential is rooted in faith. I have a strong faith in Jesus Christ and I believe that in His kingdom all people have a great potential
What are you most thankful for?
opportunities I have had. The opportunity to be with my wife and build a family with her. To go to school later in life. To serve God. To serve my family, friends and community. To have been raised with the values that I have and to learn that there were other values that I needed to add to my life.
Besides parents, who has been most influencial in your life?
My wife. My brother. My mentor who discipled me to Christ. Jesus Christ, I mean that as non cheesy as can be. Then there are some other influences that have really taught me to think for myself and to ask questions about why things are the way they are, and should they be that way, or should we seek to change them.
How do you typically spend your leisure time?
I am in grad school, I have a three year old son and I work currently in High School ministry, I minister as a deacon and lead Bible study groups. What is leisure time?
Truthfully I feel like a lot of those things are my leisure time. When you are doing things that you love, they refresh you instead of drain you.
But when I do get a moment away I like to cook, ride my motorcycle and practice Kum Do which is a Korean sword fighting art that is a descendant of the techniques that Samurai used.
What are the three characteristics that describe you best?
I don't know. This is a difficult question for me, maybe better answered by people who know me than by me.
I feel like I look very different on the outside than i feel on the inside. I mean that I kinda look tough and intimidating, but I feel like I am a sensitive and caring person sort of trapped in that tough exterior.
I can be very introspective.
I am loyal
I very deeply care about what you think and feel.
There's a stab at it for now.
What are you life goals?
To be a good husband
To be a good father
To be a good servant
To help people see that loving Christ doesn't mean that you have to become a stereotypical Christian. That there is room in the faith for all kinds of people and that we need you here as much as you need to be here.
What do you believe?
I believe in firm handshakes.
I believe that Hugs are probably even better than firm handshakes.
Emotions matter, not all things are meant to be understood logically.
I believe that the greatest thing a person can give you is a relationship with them.
I believe in Christ

Very cool profile info. I am glad that we are in the same growth group. Who would have thought that our life almost 9 or so years ago, would lead us to what it is today. Isn't God good?
